factory-kit, hosted. Self-hosted, the kit runs on your machine and in your CI. Hosted, we run the measurement plane for you: a read-only control plane for AI-generated apps. Connect Vercel, Supabase, and GitHub, and watch for drift across every project — the same standard you author, run as a managed service.

The problem

  • The Supabase schema drifted from the RLS your repo’s requireAuth() assumes
  • Two projects share an env var name with different values

No single vendor’s dashboard shows you this. Vercel won’t ship Supabase drift detection. Anthropic won’t ship GitHub inventory. The space between vendors is where your apps drift — and where no one watches.

Connect your accounts. Every Vercel project maps to its Supabase backend to its GitHub repo. One view, everywhere.

Drift detection

Weekly diffs against the patterns in factory-pitfalls.md and your own conventions: schema vs RLS, env vars, dependencies vs CVE, deployment freshness, code matching factory-pitfalls entries.

Judgment overlay

Every finding cites the pattern it violates. Failures read like “your kairos-prod Supabase enforces RLS on 8 tables, but factory-auth.md says 12 should be locked.”

Output

Weekly digest. Dashboard at app.factory-kit.dev. Optional PR comments. Optional Slack.

Your conventions, too

factory-kit ships the baseline. Author your own conventions on top. factory-kit ships auth wrappers, data layer, migrations, security, voice. Use them as-is, or describe new patterns in plain English.

Hosted turns the description into a check that runs against every connected project. Your custom conventions get measured alongside factory-kit’s defaults.
